Dying Breath

Mindfully Untitled

I.

I float to you on the ocean of your breath.

You carry me along

Guiding me to our destination.

In the shallows I steer us away from the rocks

Towards the eternal mystery,

A freedom that only this moment of breath can bring.

We glide noiselessly pass the mountains

And watch the birds coast along the breeze.

We both hear the roar of the wind and we let it take us forward.

II.

Your final breath created this new world.

It showed you your existence as it is.

Another journey begins for you now.

It’s time for me to sail on the breath of another.
